Tradition and respect for the environment for future generations

We have focused our efforts on the gradual improvement of the vineyard (grassing/cover crop, green harvests and thinning) in order to fully express the potential of the terroir. (In 2007, our healthy grapes allowed us to harvest at full maturity.)

We are convinced that a sustainable approach is the best for our vines. We also follow the biodiversity development program promoted by the syndicate of AOC Saumur Champigny winemakers.

Our wines' spirit

Aged patiently in large vault dug straight into the tufa, our wines remain authentic representation of the Saumur Champigny appellation.

Red wines of Domaine des Coutures unveil red and black fruits aromas on the nose (raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant, blackberry or cherry...) with a slightly spicy note.

The color is purple with ruby glints depending on vintages and cuvées. The palate reveals their smoothness but also powerful aromas.
